Baptist and The Jackson Clinic host grand opening for new $80-million outpatient campus

JACKSON, Tenn., Nov. 6, 2023—The Jackson Clinic and Baptist Memorial Health Care hosted a grand opening for The Jackson Clinic-Baptist Outpatient Campus, a first-of-its-kind, 155,000-square-foot medical campus in Jackson, Tennessee.

The two-story, $80 million development is home to a 51,000-square-foot outpatient surgery department, diagnostic services, 12 patient exam rooms, Green Frog Coffee & Grill on the first floor and 136 patient exam rooms on the second floor. The outpatient surgery department, managed by Baptist, includes 34 pre- and post-outpatient beds with four secluded rooms for children, two endoscopy rooms, eight operating rooms, eight post-anesthesia care units and a vascular lab.

The new outpatient medical campus will offer audiology, cardiac testing, infusion, ophthalmology, physical therapy, women’s imaging and retail pharmacy services. Surgery services will include cardiology procedures, ear, nose and throat, general, OB-GYN, plastic, podiatry and urology for patients as young as 2 years old.

The Jackson Clinic-Baptist Outpatient campus is located at 145 and 155 Innovation Drive, just at the southwest corner of the 45 Bypass and Passmore Lane. The campus will have a split start with The Jackson Clinic opening on Nov. 14, and Baptist’s outpatient surgery department opening on Dec. 18. Business hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Established in 1950 by five medical and surgical specialists, The Jackson Clinic was the first multispecialty group practice in Tennessee. Today, it is one of the largest group practices of its kind.
