Baptist Collierville pharmacy manager elected to Tennessee executive committee

MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 30, 2023 –Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville’s Pharmacy Manager Adam Boucher has been elected to the 2023–24 Tennessee Society of Health-System Pharmacists board as secretary/treasurer.

The Tennessee Society of Health-System Pharmacists falls under the umbrella of the Tennessee Pharmacist Association.

“Being elected to the Tennessee Society of Health-System Pharmacists leadership committee is a well-deserved honor for Adam,” said Lindsay Stencel, administrator and CEO of Baptist Collierville. “He has already demonstrated his commitment to quality and the advancement of patient safety at Baptist Collierville. This new role will allow him to use his expertise and leadership to benefit all health care consumers in Tennessee.”

Boucher received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis, his doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and his undergraduate studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He completed his administration residency in pharmacy practice and health systems pharmacy at Regional One Health. In addition to his role with the Tennessee Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Boucher is an affiliate faculty member of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy-Memphis and a member of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists and Tennessee Pharmacists Association Legislation & Regulatory Policy.

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville opened its doors in May 1999. With all the amenities of home, this full-service hospital sits on a 75-acre park-like campus and features extra-large patient rooms and a walking trail. Medical services include a full-service emergency room, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, inpatient and outpatient surgery, a step-down unit and a seven-bed intensive care unit, inpatient and outpatient diagnostics, the Baptist Sleep Disorders Center, outpatient women's services and 81 acute care beds. It is one of only 40 hospitals in the country to earn Joint Commission accreditation for advanced hip and knee replacement.
