Baptist Carroll County welcomes new family practice physician

Dr. Elly Riley recently joined Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County Family Health Care as a family medicine physician.

The clinic is located inside Baptist Carroll County at 641 R.B. Wilson Dr., Suite N in Huntingdon. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and patients can schedule appointments with Dr. Riley on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“We’re excited to welcome Dr. Riley to Baptist Carroll County,” said Susan Breeden, CEO and administrator of Baptist Carroll County. “Her extensive background in treating patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly will be a huge benefit to this community and enhancing local health care.”

Riley is the chair of clinical sciences and the associate professor of family medicine for Baptist Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Memphis. The college of osteopathic medicine will welcome its first class in August 2024.

Riley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Tennessee in 2003. She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. She completed a residency at Doctors Hospital Family Practice in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012.
